Seeking Submissions for City Folk Film Series

Northwest Folklife is seeking film and video submissions for "City
Folk," a film series celebrating the creativity and adaptability of
urban communities. Films should address how people and their
environments shape one another in the modern city and consider how this
process can result in cultural cohesion, social alienation or both.
Entries may be fiction or non-fiction and should focus on an actual
community's story. Examples include: refugees, new immigrants, ethnic
groups, alternative and underground communities.

City Folk will take place May 2-5, 2008 at the new SIFF (Seattle
International Film Festival) Cinema in Seattle, Washington.

Extended Submission Deadline: December 14, 2007 (Late entries accepted
as space permits)
