DC AREA ARTISTS NEEDED ON CAPITOL HILL

Wednesday, February 27

The National Association of Broadcasters (BIG RADIO) is bringing more
than 600 station managers to town to lobby every member of Congress to
deny compensating performers when their music is played on AM and FM
radio. Every other major free market in the world provides performers
with this right.

We need a show of force. BRING YOUR INSTRUMENTS. We want a visual
display of artists everywhere in the Capitol demonstrating that the
Performance Rights Act is important to us.

Please contact rsvp@soundexchange.com for further instructions.

And remember:

Big corporate radio is the only medium that refuses to pay performers
royalties for their hard work. You do the work, you should be fairly
paid.
