VIDEO: Howard County Libraries to go all Open Source this year
The head of the IT department for Howard County, Amy DeGroff, recently made a presentation at the Computers In Libraries 2008 conference earlier this week, about her system's use of Open Source and the fact that as of Sept. 2008 the Howard County Libraries will be nearly 100% Open Source throughout all their computers -- staff, customers and databases.
