But we thought it would be interesting to work out just how much in writedowns and credit losses firms have written off per wholesale banking employee. Detailed below are our amazing findings:
1. Mizuho Financial Group - $5.5bn in writedowns / credit losses, 2,000
wholesale banking employees, $2,750,000 per employee.
2. Wachovia - $7bn, 3,900, $1,794,872 per employee
3. UBS - $37bn, 22,000, $1,681,818 per employee
4. Citi - $40.9bn, 30,000, $1,363,333 per employee
