IP-fed TV network accuses RIAA/MPAA contractor of DoS SYN attack

Revision3 is an ad-supported TV network that distributes its programming
via podcast, streaming, and BitTorrent, among other methods.

MediaDefender is a RIAA/MPAA contractor that attempts to thwart the
distribution of copyrighted materials over P2P networks.

Over the weekend, MediaDefender allegedly attacked Revision3 with a SYN
flood after R3 found and closed a loophole MediaDefender was using.

Revision3's CEO Jim Louderback explained the SYN flood attack and
MediaDefender's role in his blog.
