CoSN ANNUAL CONFERENCE CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS IS OPEN -- DEADLINE JULY 2ND

Your submissions should be of high interest and relevance to the intended conference participants (key district, state, and national technology leaders) and correlate to the conference theme/focus. In addition, your presentation submissions should provide "cutting edge" and practical "how to" information as well as financial accountability.

As a presenter, you can share proven strategies for successful technology integration from personal experience and research related to technology-based instruction, including the method used for measuring the "value" of their investment in this technology.

Companies that have been working on projects that pertain to the conference program/focus should encourage their clients to submit a presentation application, keeping the presentation vendor neutral.

Presentation submissions should focus on:
What educational leaders need to do to enable collaboration;
Defining the policies and vision that leverage these innovative new tools to enable 21st century skills of critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration;
Real-world action that education leaders can and are taking; and
Cutting-edge and scalable Web 2.0 solutions.

SHARE YOUR SUCCESSES, EXPERIENCES AND RESEARCH WITH YOUR PEERS

The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) invites you to consider submitting a presentation proposal for CoSN's 14th Annual K-12 School Networking Conference to be held March 11 & 12, 2009 at the Hilton Austin Hotel in Austin, TX. This event is the premier event for education technology leaders, attracting over 1,000 district, state, and national education technology professionals. We are soliciting educational presentations around the conference theme: "Leadership, Policy, and Innovation in A Collaborative World."

Conference strands will focus on the following:
Leadership for Transformation: Exploring the critical role of leadership;

Innovative use of Emerging Technologies: Identifying cutting edge technologies and innovative applications in K-12;
Content and Integration: Leveraging technology to advance student learning;
Professional Development for Technology Leaders: Building your professional capacity;
Supporting Research for Technology Implementation: Examine what the research tells us about how technology can improve student achievement;
Business and Operations: Using technology to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.

Individuals representing school districts, intermediate/county service units, state agencies or non-profit organizations are welcome to submit a proposal. Presenting at CoSN's annual conference provides you an opportunity to share your knowledge and insights with your peers, enhance your professional development, and learn from your colleagues, as well as expand your own knowledge and skills.

All presentation submissions will be reviewed by the Conference Planning Committee.
