The Smithsonian Institution Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage
will begin interviewing in January for the a number of anticipated
temporary salaried positions with the Smithsonian Folklife Festival to
be held in June 24-28 and July 1-5, 2009. This year's programs are
Giving Voice: The Power of Words in African American Culture, Las
Américas: Un Mundo Musical/ The Americas: A Musical World, and Wales
at the Smithsonian.

Temporary positions available:
Program Coordinator, Financial Admin Asst, Crafts Sales Coordinator,
Crafts Sales Assistant, Housing Coordinator, Participant Assistant,
Participant Assistant, Volunteer Coordinator, Volunteer Assistant,
Supply Coordinator, Supply Assistant, Transportation Coordinator,
Transportation Assistant, Asst Technical Director, Admin. Technical
Asst., Carpenter, Electrician, Exhibit Workers.
