DoD Receives Chairman's Award From Advisory Council on Historic
Preservation

"The Defense Department is being awarded the Chairman's Award by the
Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, for their innovative program
to teach deploying military personnel about cultural preservation. . . .
The DoD program, entitled 'In Theater Heritage Training for Deploying
Personnel' educates troops about the importance of heritage assets, and
methods of protecting them."
