Are there different standards used when blogging versus other writing? Have blogs impacted the news business significantly? What kind of influence are blogs having on political and policy debates?

The mission of the Training Corps is to support district-level professional development efforts by providing demonstrations by expert teachers and practitioners of ways to improve academic performance through increased content knowledge and improved pedagogical skill. Participants in the trainings should leave sessions with ready-to-use strategies and an understanding of why and when those strategies are effective. The Training Corps will also support participants through regional workshops, e-mail mentoring, e-Learning presentations, web casts and follow-up visits.
